What is clear is that none of us are able to live up to these expectations. The result of this is that many of us end up with a distorted body perception, ie we do not see ourselves how others see us. For some, this can lead to eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and compulsive eating - conditions which are dramatically increasing in society and which require serious attention.

Macau (China) Fashion vs European Fashion

How can be so different the meaning of fashion, for us, Europeans, and for Chinese people, in this case, Macau people.
It´s so interesting to see the differences...
Culture means everything, even in fashion. Different cultures make different perceptions of fashion.
We all live in the same year, the same moment, but, in fashion, it´s like we live in different  worlds.
Even when we see Macau fashion shows, we notice the difference from the Portuguese designers and the Chinese ones.
This is one of the reasons why I love fashion. Fashion is what you use, in the place that you live, with the culture where you born.
What is fashion for me, can be totally unfashionable for other person.
So what make fashion a GLOBAL interest?! In My opinion, fashion is the same for everyone. The way people use it, or combined, or even look at it, is the thinks that make FASHION seems different in different cultures.
